'Real beats and real bars! From the off my head was nodding and I knew I was in for some ‘proper’ UK Rap. That ‘UK Rap’ that real headz love and vibe off. Blaktrix has an excellent tone to his voice and I really like his flow. Reminds me of early Wu Tang Clan in its sound but then has lashing of live input on bass and drums which give it a sense of funk. The tracks are varied, but the stand out cuts for me where ‘Business Is Good’ produced by Sir Beans OBE, ‘Night & Day’ Feat Junior Disprol produced by Stagga and the excellent ‘Blix James Bitch’ produced by Monky. Blaktrix is set to release his debut album later this year and after hearing this release I know I’m going to love it. Blaktrix is definitely a name to watch out for in 2010.'
